Problems of the post war patriotic education of young people in the Soviet historiography (1953 - early 1990's)

In 1953 - early 1990s the essence of military and patriotic education was analysed in scholarly research, its goals were defined, and its specific forms were worked out. Special attention was given to the forms of activities of children and youth social and political organizations. One of the major achievements of that period was the historiographic research on the subject.
