The problems of pension provision in Russia and ways of their solution

The article is devoted to the problems of financing the Russian pension system. The author underlines the tendency of rising deficit of the Russian state pension fund. This deficit is covered from the federal budget, but its stability is reducing. There are some solutions of this problem offered in the article. The first one is to increase the funded part of pension at the expense of non-funded part. The activities of private pension funds and asset management companies are analyzed at the example of the Southern Federal District of Russia.
