The problems of transition to a two-level system of higher education in Russia

The article discusses problems of transition of the Russian society to a two-level system of higher vocational education. The special attention is given to the readiness of the academic community for such a transition. The transition to the two-level system of professional training is determined by the change of the type of a culture, transformation of a humanistic culture into the mosaic one in the modern society. The author substantiates the objectivity of an occurring process and formulates the directions for resolution of the problem of the academic community’s readiness to teach according to the standards of qualification of Bachelor and Specialist/Master. Basing upon case of the Management study system the author reveals essentials of Bachelors’ training.
