The paths of the development of the innovative Russian economy under the influence of globalization are considered and the most important problems that do not allow starting this process to full force are highlighted. These factors were investigated by analyzing the aggregate level of innovative activity of organizations all over the world. On this basis, the conclusion about the importance of innovation for the financial recovery of the state. The author proposed the changes necessary for the qualitative growth of the economy and increase the efficiency of enterprises.
