The problems of finding relevant methodology of economic research

The subject of the article is the methodological basis of modern economic research. The place of these disciplines in the classification of Sciences, especially the definition of "truth", "law", their empirical confirmation and acceptance or rejection by the scientific community. The main question of this work is how the generally accepted ideas, theories, concepts, paradigms are formed, on the basis of which economic forecasts are developed in the future. The scope of the conclusions and recommendations of this work is the state policy in the field of economic and demographic development.
