In the article, the author examined the stage of checking reports of crimes committed by medical workers as a result of their misfeasance of professional duties. The significance of the vindication for medical documents at this stage, containing the information about improperly provided medical care, information about the health, diagnosis of the complainant is identified. Problems that arise due to the vindication of medical documentation are identified, and the ways to solve them are proposed.
