Problems of increasing the efficiency of use of material and labor resources in light industry of Azerbaijan

Reducing the cost of labor and material resources in the manufacture of products to ensure quality requirements is one of the main directions of increasing the profitability of products and increasing on this basis production efficiency as a whole. For products of a special type, manufactured by state orders, in particular, branded clothing for various purposes and other products of a “stable assortment”, the indicated way to increase the profit of enterprises and the profitability of products is essentially the only one. This is due to the use of centrally regulated prices for products and raw materials by establishing a lower marginal level of production profitability. Such an economic mechanism operates in the light industry sector of the Republic of Azerbaijan, which produces products of a stable assortment. The share of these products in the total production of sewing enterprises reaches 50%, which shows the importance and relevance of the national economic problem for the republic: finding and implementing ways to reduce labor and material resources in the mass production of state orders for a stable assortment of garments.
