Problems of the practice of applying probation

The article discusses some aspects of the execution of suspended sentences, which make it possible to increase the efficiency of the work of correctional institute employees in this area. An analysis is carried out of the measures of state coercion that the court has the right to apply in the presence of special circumstances indicating a lesser degree of public danger.Such measures include probation. The results of the study allow us to conclude that improving conditional sentencing in Russian criminal law has great theoretical and practical significance.
