The article deals with the problems of legal provision of accounting in commercial banks. The author describes the features of accounting for banking operations with currency. The reasons for the discrepancy between the automated accounting processes and their regulatory and legal support in the banking sphere are investigated. The necessity of introduction of automated systems in the bank is grounded.
