Problems of legal regulation of subjects performing inquest in the abbreviated form

In this paper, based on the current legislation the topical problem of legal uncertainty of the subject composition of officers authorized to perform the inquest in the abbreviated form. The conclusion is made on credentials of subjects of procedural activities in the criminal procedure of the Russian Federation with the right to perform the inquest in general and abbreviated forms.
