Problems of legal regulation of appointment and enforcement of restriction of freedom

The article considers the problems of imposing restrictions on freedom, identified during the analysis of judicial practice of applying the type of punishment under consideration. The difficulties of fulfilling the restriction of freedom by employees of penitentiary inspections were analyzed. The authors formulated proposals for improving the legal regulation of restrictions on freedom in criminal and penal law. It was concluded that the application of restriction of freedom in modern conditions for the implementation of criminal policy is promising.
