Problem of professional development of young scientists (on the example the case of postgraduate studies of Irkutsk State Technical University)

This article is devoted to the study of social and professional development of young scientists on the example of postgraduate studies of ISTU and problems that graduate students face in the process of professional self-determination. The author analyzes the installation of post-graduate students to continue their professional activities in the field of science. The process of becoming qualified scientists is examined systematically: postgraduate training, methods of training graduate students, their interests and a willingness to devote their life to the work in science.
