Challenges of preventive influence on adolescent and youth crime

Introduction: the article analyses the problematic issues of the preventive effect on group juvenile delinquency. The main objective of the study is to justify the priority role of early prevention of group teenage and youth crime, in its proper legal, informational, methodological, material, staffing. Materials and Methods: the choice of the methodological approach of the stated topic is justified by the purpose and objectives of the study and is based on the dialectical method, as well as the general ones: analysis, synthesis, generalization and comparison, private-scientific: statistical, sociological and other methods of scientific knowledge. Results: the article proposes new approaches to the system of preventive measures for group juvenile delinquency based on the characteristics of group behavior and the process of its formation in adolescent and youth, the conditions for the formation of criminogenic and organized adolescent and youth groups on the specificity of the factors that generate commission of crimes by members of criminogenic and organized teenage and youth groups. Discussion and Conclusions: the authors note that the concept of preventive impact on group juvenile crime should be based on the fundamental principles specific to the concept of response to crime in general, taking into account the age and socio-psychological characteristics of perpetrators of crimes, appropriate scientific and legal support for such an impact.
