The article provides a definition of compulsory measures of a medical nature, and also indicates the relationship between such measures and persons suffering from mental disorders. The author, relying on the norms of criminal procedure, highlights the problems associated with the proceedings on the application of compulsory medical measures, and also suggests ways to solve them. along with this, the article indicates the current state of the mechanism of compulsory measures of a medical nature.
