Problems of counteraction to extremism and terrorism: round table in Plekhanov Russian University of Economics

The article presents information on the round table «Problems of Counteraction to Extremism and Terrorism», which was organized by Plekhanov Russian University of Economics in the frames of the scientific conference «Complex Safety of Educational Institutions: Theory and Practice». The discussion of scientists and teachers demonstrated the growing potential of Russian higher education institutions in the issue of countering the challenges and threats of the modern ideology of extremism and terrorism. The opportunities and increase level of political culture of students and engaging students in the constructive civic engagement are assessed.
