Problems of investigating crimes under Article 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation: factors leading to acquittals

Based on the analysis of the law enforcement practice of the departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation and the courts of constituent entities of the Russian Federation, the issues related to the problems of investigating cases of driving under the influence when a driver has been a subject of an administrative penalty or has a criminal record, are considered in the article. Scientific and practical recommendations for resolving the most problematic issues of conducting investigation of crimes under consideration are proposed by the author.
