Problems of development of intellectual potential in Russian Federation

The article is devoted to the problems of development of intellectual potential of modern Russia. The main attention is paid to the problem of development of talented youth and gifted children in Russia. The attitude of the Authorities of other countries to the phenomenon of "gifted" is traced. The term "gifted children", used abroad, which is the starting point for further work with talented young people, is defined. The significance of talented and genius youth in modern conditions is determined. The types of additional education for gifted children in Russia and abroad are considered. The assumption of creating a school for gifted children is considered as one of the tools for the development of the intellectual potential of the Russian Federation. Describes the requirements to be met by a school student for gifted children. predicting the impacts of this school on the problem of innovation activity, as well as the reflection of its impact on the achievement of social policy goals of the state.
