Problems of violence culture development in the internet

The paper is devoted to the topical issue of the destructive youth communities development in the virtual space. The article sums up the new material on the issue, introduces the notion ‘violence culture’, outlines this phenomenon. Analysing the youth subcultures which are active in the social internet communities, the author shows the development of today’s youth movements popularizing the violence culture on the examples of such cultural phenomena as ‘columbiners’ and A.U.E. The article demonstrates the ways and mechanisms of the development and popularization of the violence culture communities among youth and shows the potential and real threats from these communities in the sphere of psychological safety and security in general.
