The article focuses on the opposing views of developed and developing countries on the WTO agreement in the field of intellectual property (IP). It is shown that developing countries can benefit from the adoption of an agreement in the field of IP, including the attraction of foreign technology and the acceleration of economic growth. At the same time, developing countries should develop their IP protection systems without undermining the IP protection systems of other countries.
