The article deals with the problem of developing the professional competence of a teacher working with children with special educational needs in inclusive education. The subject of theoretical analysis is the professional readiness of teachers of inclusive education. The stages of teacher training are highlighted and the components of a teacher's readiness to work with children with disabilities in a comprehensive school are analyzed.
