Problems of development of the transport and logistics market of Russia

At the moment, the indicator of logistics costs in the production segment in Russia - occupies a leading position in the world. The cost indicators for the maintenance and development of the transport and logistics sector in Russia are very different from those of other developed countries. If in Europe about 9% of GDP is spent, and in China-14% on external and internal costs, then in Russia this figure is about 20%. The length of the Russian territory largely explains this difference in indicators, but is not the only reason for this problem. The main factor is the low efficiency of logistics services.
