Development problems of Russian employees’ labour activity

The article deals with the problems hindering the development of labour activity of Russian employees. It has been discovered that the main barrier is the specific attitude to work, the essence of which lay in the dominance of material values in work motivation. In addition, the negative impact on the labour activity provides the prevalence of job placement of graduates not according their major of study upon graduation and a growing informal employment. In the conclusion the package of measures on development of workers’ labour activity is suggested.
