Russia has embarked on the path of entry into a single global digital community, taking on international obligations to implement the policy of building a digital society. This occurs through the expansion of the state telecommunications infrastructure used to interact with the population, as well as through the introduction of digital identification and authenticating of citizens. The paradox is that a country with such a policy runs the risk of partial loss of national sovereignty. Despite the existing military potential, domestic forms of interaction through electronic systems are becoming vulnerable, where virtually all information about citizens of Russia, in particular, about military personnel and special services, is contained in a generally accessible form. Such an open policy makes it possible to commit criminal actions, including sabotage, against the state sovereignty of the country and creates a threat to Russia's national security.
