Difficulties in realization of the victim's right to compensation for harm caused by a crime

The article highlights the problematic aspects associated with the legal institution of compensation for harm caused by a crime. Studied and analyzed the regulatory legal acts of the Russian Federation. The possibility of improving this legal sphere by adopting a draft law is proposed, which would make it possible to better ensure the realization of the victim’s right to compensation for harm caused by the crime. In addition, other issues directly related to this legal institution were discussed.
