Problems of implementation of succession of mathematical training in schools and universities

The paper describes the problems associated with the lack of readiness of pupils to continue math education in high school. The causes of these problems are seen in the violation of the principle of succession and the concept of continuous mathematics education in the system “school-high school”. A poor quality of mathematics training of students entering a college of education has a very negative influence on the quality of higher education, which forms a “vicious circle”. The authors offer some solutions to the identified problems at the level of university and school
