The article discusses the specifics of integration processes in the post-Soviet space in the context of globalization. It is shown that the process of integration interaction of the CIS countries has practically not stopped since the time when the countries of the Commonwealth gained independence with varying degrees of intensity and success. The countries of the region went through almost all stages of economic integration, but in full format with the achievement of specific economic effects, it was possible to approach only within the framework of the Customs Union of the integration trio: Kazakhstan, Belarus and Russia. Moreover, the relative success of this integration project is primarily since all its participants have enough economic interests and incentives for economic interaction.Integration in the post-Soviet space does not develop equally in different areas of interaction between countries, but over the past four years, its dynamics within the framework of the main subregional associations has remained at approximately the same level. This means that the constant disintegration trend that has been observed for two decades may have come to an end, but the situation has not been qualitatively reversed.
