The article presents the results of research work on conflictological problems of modern Russia. The definition of conflicts is given and their types and kinds are considered. Thus, the asymmetry, which is of an economic, social, budgetary and legal nature, in the multinational regions of the country has led to the spread of conflicts and inter-ethnic tensions. The study revealed a negative trend of long-term preservation of characteristic differences in the labor activity of men and women in the youth environment in the period from the era of Soviet Russia to the present. The need to solve and manage interactions and situations leads to the demand for qualified conflict analysts. Modern realities determine the requirements for general cultural skills used in professional activities, including those of a conflict analyst-practitioner. The formation of general cultural competencies provides the desired result - the training of a specialist with a developed sense of responsibility, capable of applying creative potential and self-training.
