Modern family and problems of family policy in the Russian Federation

Family valuables, main tendencies in changes of family institution are shown in the article. Problems and dynamics of family development, transformations of family functions, contradictions between family and out-of-the-family valuables are treated. Peculiarities of reproductive behaviour of the Republic of Mordovia population are analysed, the latest statistical materials have been used as well as preliminary results of the population census of 2002 and Conception for demographic development of the Russian Federation for the period till the year 2015.
