The relevance of the research topic lies in the fact that the problems of compliance with lawyer ethics on the Internet are caused by the neglect of certain requirements established by ethical standards for lawyers, which can lead to a decrease in trust on the part of the principals, both to individual lawyers and to the legal community as a whole, a decrease in their authority. The purpose of the study is to analyze the problems of compliance with lawyer ethics in the information and communication network of the Internet. The system method, the method of dialectical cognition, formal-logical and other methods of cognition were used as research methods. The result of the study: in order to avoid violations related to the observance of lawyer ethics, as well as unacceptable behavior of a lawyer on the Internet, it is proposed to create educational and explanatory materials for lawyers on the basis of professional development centers for lawyers in the form of online courses, for example, "Ethics of a lawyer in the ICS, including the Internet". This course may contain the main aspects of the implementation of the norms of the Code of Attorney Ethics: the rules of conduct of a lawyer in the ICS, including the Internet; compliance of the content content of the lawyer's website / lawyer education with the positions of the Code of Attorney Ethics, the Rules of Conduct of lawyers in the ICS Internet, the Recommendations of the FPA of the Russian Federation on maintaining a personal website by a lawyer, etc. These and many other aspects should be implemented in a format that takes into account current trends in online education.
