The creation and maintenance of urban green spaces is one of the most pressing problems; it requires significant costs and effort. Urbanization has led to a reduction in green space, and this has significant implications for the health and well-being of urban residents. In this regard, the study of problems associated with the spread of green spaces in the city is a major task that requires comprehensive consideration. The article discusses the problems of creating and maintaining green spaces in urban areas. Possible steps that can be taken to solve these problems are presented. Examples of successful urban greening practices are given. The role of technology in solving problems of landscaping is indicated. It concludes that cities need to address challenges related to space constraints, funding, climate change, community engagement and biodiversity to create and maintain high-quality green spaces. By working together and leveraging new technologies, cities can create green spaces that improve the health and well-being of city residents and support a more sustainable future.
