Problems of establishing and managing companies with a holding structure

This article analyzes the problems faced by companies with a holding structure both at the initial stage of organizing the holding and in the management process. Among the problems of creating a holding, the loss of flexibility in managing the holding, the complete dependence of subsidiaries on the parent company, as well as the ignorance of many people of the actual structure of the holding were highlighted. As for the problems of managing holdings, they are mainly associated with the inconsistency of the formed holding model. As a result, the identified problems can become an indicator and help to identify the level of achievement of any critical value in the activities of holdings.
