The article explores the challenges of managing students' individual educational trajectories based on the analysis of digital profiles and digital traces. The authors emphasize the importance of personalizing the educational process to enhance its effectiveness and tailor it to the unique needs of learners. The main challenges associated with the use of digital traces are discussed, including their limitations, data incompleteness, and difficulties in predicting academic success. Special attention is given to the integration of digital profiles into learning management systems, where the lack of a standardized structure complicates data analysis and transfer between different educational institutions. The article also addresses privacy concerns and ethical issues related to the storage and processing of students' personal data. The authors highlight the necessity of developing universal standards for digital profile structures and implementing more effective methods for data collection and analysis, including the use of social media data and video analytics. The article concludes by emphasizing the need to balance deep personalization with maintaining students' ability to adapt to diverse educational contexts, thus avoiding the risks associated with hyper-personalization.
