The article reveals the problems of manual management of the level and quality of life of the population of Russia on the example of indicators of income of the population from budgetary sources and entrepreneurial activity. The article concludes that changing the current approach with targeted and targeted budget subsidies for the development of entrepreneurship will be an effective tool for improving the standard of living of the Russian population.
