According to statistical data, the number of victims of human trafficking increases every year. Trafficking in children and young women is consistently leading the way. According to experts, the real number of offences is significantly different from the numbers of criminal cases that are initiated and brought to court. This situation indicates the problems with investigating these cases. The article highlights the features of the crime of trafficking of minors, affecting the emerging investigation situations and, consequently, the process of determining and proving the elements of the offense. It identifies circumstances that may help prove the fact of minors' trafficking and identifies problems with applying the provisions of the Criminal Code on liability for minors trafficking, which affects both the classification of crimes and the proof process.
