Problems of visual-narrative approach in creating comics and films on the identific scenario

In the article genre features of a comic book and a film, and their various nature of creation of a visually narrative series from a common source (the "Treasure") are considered. An analysis is made of the features of the artist's emergence of a figurative series, with the help of painting and the advantages of paints in front of a movie camera. Also, the author analyzed the way of conveying verbal and non-verbal symbols that were in the script and determined with what difficulties one can encounter when visualizing these symbols. Considered are the features of the color reproduction of the comics and the reasons for the loss of color in the film. As an example, the work presents an analysis of various scenes from the comics and the film, how they are consistent with the author's idea, and what factors can interfere with the director when creating his product. The author tried to analyze how the image structure in various sign systems is torn out: the script is a comic film.
