Youth education problems in the context of becoming digital civilization

The article examines the problem of the crisis of upbringing and education in the context of digital civilization. The relevance of the analysis is justified by the presence of turning points in the spiritual sphere, the formation of new meanings, modes of communication and norms of behavior among young people. The aim of the study is to determine the directions of the education system on the basis of the analysis of value attitudes of young people during the formation of digital civilization. The main tasks include: interdisciplinary analysis of the problems of educating modern youth, identifying the challenges and threats of cyberspace. The goals and objectives determined the choice of the source base, combining data from sociological research, works on psychology and cultural dynamics. To achieve the set goals, such methods as systemic, semiotic and comparative were used. It is emphasized that spiritual meanings and ideals in the digital space are being replaced by norms of aggressive behavior, and Internet addiction and cyberbullying are becoming new threats and challenges of modern society. It is revealed that the patterns of youth behavior imposed by virtual reality lead to the transformation of previous channels of socialization, and the digital environment itself contributes to the withdrawal from reality, replication of cruelty, lack of responsibility and empathy.
