Upbringing problems in Old Turkic literary monuments

The article considers the problem of formation and development of pedagogic thought among ancient Turkis. Grave stones texts remained until nowadays serve as the basis of this analysis upon which the author shows the most actual for that time ideas of upbringing, such as transfer of knowledge from one generation to another, patriotism, tolerance, respect of the elders and others.
