Problems of compensation for damage caused to the environment in the Russian Federation

This article analyzes the main problems associated with compensation for environmental damage in the Russian Federation. These problems include ineffective legislation, insufficient application of sanctions, weak compensation infrastructure and an undeveloped system of environmental accounting and damage assessment. It also emphasizes the need to improve legislation, develop effective mechanisms and tools to compensate for environmental damage, as well as increase the state role in monitoring and punishing environmental offenses. In conclusion, the article emphasizes the need for further research and development of practical recommendations to improve the system of compensation for environmental damage in the Russian Federation.
