Problems arising in the implementation of direct management by the owners of an apartment building

This paper examines the legal essence of one of the ways of managing apartment buildings - direct management by the owners of residential premises of an apartment building. In this paper, the author analyzes the concept of "management of an apartment building", reveals the problem of the lack of legal consolidation of this concept. The author offers his own interpretation of the term "management of an apartment building". The main features characterizing the method of managing an apartment building directly by the owners of residential premises are considered. This paper also raises the positive and negative aspects of the direct management of the owners of the premises of an apartment building. Further ways of solving the identified problems are proposed.
