In conditions of constant growth of competition in the market, business reputation of a business entity becomes one of the most valuable resources. It is the main tool for attracting new customers and building long-term relationships with counterparties. Accordingly, the maintenance and protection of business reputation is one of the priorities of any company or entrepreneur's policy. This article is devoted to some problematic aspects of protection of business reputation of an entrepreneur in the Internet. The relevance of the problem is due to the imperfection of current legislation in this area, a wide range of Internet users, low level of responsibility of Internet providers, complexity and duration of the process of protecting business reputation in court.
