Bankruptcy procedures: problems of legal regulation

The article is devoted to a current topic in Russia - bankruptcy procedures. It analyzes the key functions of this institution, such as stabilizing the economy, revitalizing business, protecting rights and interests of economic participants, as well as supporting competitive order and preventing abuse. The main functions of the bankruptcy institute are considered, along with the major problems related to legal regulation of insolvency (bankruptcy). The article also suggests solutions to these problems.
