Process of creation of Datsan parishies in Buryatia: socio-empiric aspect of analysis

The article considers the key periods of creating Buddhist datsan parishes in the territory of Buryatia. We have obtained fact-fixing data to establish and generalize certain facts, registered the development of events characteristic of identifying and detailing the object of study in conversations, meetings, interviews and recordings with respondents. The article presents the examples of Buryat parishes related to the same parish of Atsagat (Shulut datsan) in the 21st and 19th, as well as the comparative analysis of the number of datsan parishes in the modern era and in the historical past. We also have made an attempt to analyze the further functioning and development of parish life.
