The process of adopting the new Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic of 2021

The article provides a scientific analysis of the historical background and conditions for the preparation of the draft Constitution of the independent Kyrgyz Republic. The declaration of independence of the Kyrgyz Republic is one of the most important stages in the history of Kyrgyzstan. One of the historical events connected with this historical process was the adoption of the new Constitution of the country. During the years of independence, the Constitution of the Republic was submitted several times for discussion by the Parliament and the people, and amendments were made. The article provides for the adoption of the Constitution on April 21, 2021 through a popular vote - a referendum.
