Ensuring the rights of a lawyer in criminal proceedings is the most important area of the science of criminal proceedings and is considered by scientists in various aspects in the legal literature. The study clearly demonstrated the essence and legal and social significance of the right to provide qualified legal assistance. As a result of the study, the author made theoretical conclusions about the natural connection of the right to provide qualified legal assistance with the right to receive it clarified the content and nature of the lawyer’s procedural capabilities, as well as the lawyer’s position on expanding the scope of activity.
