The processes of desecularization in post-Soviet Buryatia

The article is devoted to the study of tendencies of change in religious situation in Post-Soviet Buryatia. The main processes of religious growth and expansion of the influence of religion on society are analyzed in the work. The dynamics of religious changes in Buryatia in 1990-2000s is considered on the example of two largest centralized religious organizations: the Russian Orthodox church and Buddhist Traditional Sangha of Russia.
