Transformation processes in the literary sphere of the Russian Far East in 1990s

The article analyzes the effects of radical reforms in 1990s on the literary sphere in the Russian Far East, including a collapse of the unified cultural space, a transition from the «vertical» model of publishing business to the «horizontal» one, and a decline in the prestige of literary work. The article shows what the Far Eastern writers feel about the new times, and how they manage to survive during the transition period.
