In this article a comparative analysis of trends in epidemiological parameters of alcoholism and alcohol sale per capita in Belarus between 2000 and 2015 was performed. The results of present study suggest that market decrease in epidemiological parameters of alcoholism after 2011 was driven by decrease of alcohol sales as a consequence of decrease in affordability of alcohol. The results of Spearmen correlation analysis suggest close association between the trends in epidemiological parameters of alcoholism and fortified vines sales. This fact indicates that decrease in affordability of fortified vines might be responsible for decrease in epidemiological parameters of alcoholism in Belarus during last years.
