Life expectancy of the dependent population and its objective factors

The paper reveals the features of approaches and objective circumstances that affect the life expectancy. The focus is on the factors of life expectancy of the dependent population. The research analyzes the concept of and the background to the life expectancy, the Gompertz - Makeham law of mortality, the demographic and sociological approaches to studying the indicator under review in the capital, the gender structure of the incapacitated persons, and their involvement in employment. Considering the concept of the factor, the author systematizes their types, social and statistical criteria, describes the characteristics of a number of objective factors based on applied sociological research. The study examines the demographic situation in society, in particular in the metropolis, as one of the main reasons that determines the life expectancy of the citizens.
