The article presents the results of studying the technological qualities (grain size, protein content) of grain of collection samples and zoned varieties of spring triticale in the soil and climatic conditions of the Vladimir region. It has been established that the productivity and quality of grain is significantly influenced by the weather conditions that develop during the period of the formation and loading of grain. High-quality grain was formed in years with moderate humidity and high air temperatures, especially during seed ripening. Mid-ripe varieties of Ulyana, Lotus, Zaozerie, Normann, Russian samples TR-850, TR-849, Polish k-3722, 3723, k-3726, Ukrainian k-3892 with a maximum productivity of more than 520 g / m2 turned out to be highly productive. High protein content in grains was characterized by Amigo (14.4%), k-3726 (Poland), k-3723 (Poland), k-3894 (Ukraine), k-3888 (Belarus) (14.4 - 14.7%). Large grains differed varieties Lotas, Zaozerye, Rossika, Russian samples of TR-849, k-4016, Polish k-3726, Ukrainian k-3892, k-3894, the weight of 1000 grains of which varied from 41.5 to 50.7 g. The released samples recommended for breeding culture on productivity and grain quality.
