Productivity of the maternal forms of sunflower hybrids depending on plant populations

In 2017-2018 we studied regularities of yield formation, yield quality and structure using constant inbred lines - maternal forms of sunflower hybrids VK 101, VK 678, VK 905, VА 760 and ED 765 bred in the All-Russia Research Institute of Oil Crops by Pustovoit V.S. (VNIIMK, Krasnodar) at their cultivation with plant populations 40, 50, 60 and 70 thousand plants per ha, middle nutrition area per a plant of maternal form 0.25; 0.20; 0.17; 0.14 sq. m and space between plant in a raw 36, 29, 24 and 20 cm, respectively, on leached black soil of the Krasnodar region. A negative correlation between amount of formed seeds from screens with oblong holes, sized 2.5 × 20 mm, and plant population. Maximal yield was obtained at cultivation of the line VK 101 at plant population 50 thousand plant per ha (1.37 t per ha); lines VK 678, VА 760, ED 765 - 60 thousand plant per ha (1.59; 1.26 and 1.20 t per ha); VK 905 - 70 thousand plant per ha (1.81 t per ha). Increasing of plant population from 40 to 70 thousand plant per ha led to increase of oil content in seeds by 1...
